PSG owners looking to invest
In Tottenham.

Never us is it?

Apparently the PSG owners have held talks with Daniel Levy about investing just short of 1billion in exchange for a 25 percent stake in the club.

As well as owning PSG they also hold a 22 percent stake in FC Braga.

Marty thing is, that source states that there is the PSG link and then two others and that Tripp is now CEO of Atlantic Park and if I have read correctly that they have set up a Uk vehicle for the takeover. Seems plenty of interest. Also states that relegation won’t put them off and that all options on the table regarding the stadium (including knocking it down and starting again). Indicates that it will be yank investors (also hinting at DK and Tripp joint takeover).

Alex G all I’ve read is the PSG owners only want a minority share - which I don’t see what the benefit is? Although I don’t think it would be very hard to have another one of their companies/names take us over.

Re: PSG owners looking to invest
Isn't there a rule about only being allowed to own one club per European tournament? If so would the owners of PSG buying us effectively mean we aren't allowed in the Champions league*? If so what would our role be for them - a mid table premier league club to act as a feeder for PSG

* Yeah, I know, West Ham in Champions league is a very remote possibility even if we had a big money take over.

Thing is Mike that's starting to be Tottenham's thing too.....except their captain fucks up our World Cups!

Re: PSG owners looking to invest
It's like everybody who owns the club want us to be perennial under-achievers; it's like our global USP that no other club has - we play pretty football (even win World Cups) - but we never actually achieve anything worthwhile.

I've been following him for the last couple of years LJC .seems to know a hell of lot of what's happening . And who's after WHUFC and who isn't. It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if Levy's heard about the qataris interest in west ham and is trying to stick his oar in just like he did over that stadium.

Re: PSG owners looking to invest

Had some interesting things to say. DK having other investors lined up, Tripp heading up a new investment firm and a couple of other funds interested from April.

If true then a takeover is happening but that if true… I don’t know how reliable he is…

PSG Arabic owners buying Tottenham. A club who are historically not very welcoming to Arabs. Can see that one happening.

It actually makes sense
They own tracts of the Olympic Park, have an obvious open dialogue and could nick the ground for peanuts

Valuation wise £4B Spurs us £600m
No brainer where my money would go, but then I do have a somewhat vested interest

PSG don’t even own their stadium.

Pretty sure a half decent offer would be able to buy the stadium outright.
